Milford, Pa.-A Pike County resident was sentenced in Pike County Court for possession with the intent to deliver cocaine. Neville Hancock, age 57, of Dingman Township previously entered a plea of guilty to three charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance[1]. On March 7th, 2025, Pike County President Judge Gregory H. Chelak sentenced Hancock to a total sentence of not less than 46 months up to 96 months in a state correctional facility along with a fine of $1,500.00. The sentence is an enhanced sentence because Hancock possessed firearms at the time of the crime.
According to the affidavit of probable cause supporting the charges, the Pike DA Unlawful Narcotics Investigation Team (U.N.I.T.) served a search warrant at a residence located at 131 Conashaugh Trail in Dingman Township on August 30th, 2024. Investigators located hundreds of individual plastic bags in various colors, two scales, a “Blackjack” weapon, several bottles containing various prescription medication which none were prescribed to Hancock, and three large jars containing Marijuana. Also in the closet was a wooden box that had an eyeglass case in it which contained three individual packaged bags containing a white chunky substance and a small plastic bag containing several multicolored pills known as ecstasy. Once Investigators searched the master bedroom, they located a safe that held a large sandwich bag containing a white chunky substance along with a gallon sized Ziploc bag of Marijuana. During the search warrant, multiple firearms were located in the residence.
During an interview, Hancock admitted to having approximately two to three ounces of cocaine in his residence along with Marijuana, and various prescription pills. Hancock admitted to dealing quantities of narcotics to individuals in the past.
The case was prosecuted by First Assistant District Attorney Bruce DeSarro.
